Welcome to Ocean Classroom

We are an educational organization providing programs of sea education and adventure aboard traditional tall ship schooners. Ocean Classroom is a leader in experiential education, with award-winning programs sailing from the Canadian Maritimes to the Caribbean Sea. We strive to create programs aboard our ships in which our students grow stronger and more confident socially, intellectually, ethically and physically to take their places among the generations of exceptional men and women who have been transformed by seafaring life.

Proctor Academy & Ocean Classroom:
A Partnership 20 Years Strong

In late November of last year we concluded our 20th Ocean Semester with Proctor Academy–twenty years of safe, transformative, accredited education at sea–for almost 500 students who have sailed to the Caribbean and back, lived and learned aboard, shaped their lives, and made friends forever. Watch this 3:57 video of Proctor students describing their semester at sea aboard Ocean Classroom's traditional tall ships.
