Ocean Classroom works with a variety of schools, youth groups, museums, and community organizations across North America.  We work closely with our longstanding institutional partners to design unique sailing itineraries and curriculum to accommodate particular educational needs and objectives.

Custom programs are available for sixth-graders through adults, and vary in length from a day-sail to a full semester. Students are enriched by a holistic growth experience that challenges them mentally, physically and emotionally while they develop greater personal and environmental awareness. All programs offer integrated expeditionary learning in humanities and sciences, and well as character, leadership development and teamwork.

Program themes can include:

< Marine Science & Oceanography
< Maritime History & Literature
< Applied Mathematics
< Navigation & Seamanship

Custom programs are available throughout the year in the Caribbean (winter), Northern New England (summer) and Southern New England/Mid-Atlantic states (spring and fall). We can accommodate day sail groups and overnight trips.

Fees are set depending on length and nature of the program. Call or send us an email for rates and information.

Our vessels typically sleep between 20 and 25 students.

Each custom program can include a service component. Call for details.
